entitled to enter into a contract for a loan, liable to suffer if they failed to pay the loan which they had contracted. And there is a fur ther point which comes strongly on the evidencem with reference to the belief that instone Brewer had in these Directors and the genuiness of their loans, that he had suffieient trust in these Directors to allow his own wife to accept $432,000.00 as trustee, solely at the request of these Directors, and with- out any further security against her incurring the loss of that amount than a mere letter of guarantee signed by his Directors. If Mr. Brewer could trust these Directors sufficiently to allow his own wife to incur such a liability, he would have sufficient trust in them to believe that their loans were genuine and that the Company was in a better position to have their capital in the form of loans, than capital outstanding in the form of shares,
